SUN-2000G2-WAL-H is a 2000W grid-connected inverter designed for use with wind generators and for feeding generated electrical energy into an AC electrical system. The inverter converts electrical energy produced by a compatible wind turbine into pure sine wave AC electricity and is designed for wind generators with three-phase AC output.

2000W Grid-Tie Inverter for Wind Turbines

The SUN-2000G2-WAL-H is a dedicated grid-connected inverter for wind generators with a maximum output power of 2000W. It is installed between the wind turbine and the AC electrical system and converts the electrical energy generated by the turbine into suitable AC output.

The inverter is designed for wind energy systems where electricity generated by the wind turbine can be used within the electrical installation without requiring a separate battery storage system. When the system is correctly designed and connected according to applicable requirements, the generated electricity can be used by the connected electrical loads.

Compatible Wind Turbine Required

This product is the inverter only. The wind turbine is not included and must be purchased separately. For correct operation, a compatible wind generator must be selected according to the inverter's input voltage range and electrical configuration.

The inverter is designed for use with wind generators providing three-phase AC voltage and supports the specified input voltage range shown in the technical specifications.

Wind Turbine and Mast Sold Separately

A complete wind power system using this inverter requires a compatible wind turbine and suitable mast or tower. The mast must be selected according to the specific turbine model, turbine weight, installation height and site conditions.

MPPT Technology for Wind Generators

The SUN-2000G2-WAL-H uses MPPT technology to track the available power from the wind generator. The specified MPPT efficiency is up to 99%, supporting efficient conversion of the variable electrical energy produced by the wind turbine.

The specified peak inverter efficiency is 92%, while the power factor is up to 0.99. The output waveform is a pure sine wave.

Built-In Dump Load Controller

An important feature of this inverter is the integrated dump load controller. It is designed specifically for wind generator applications and assists with managing the turbine voltage and operating conditions.

As wind speed changes, the controller helps maintain suitable operating parameters. Under excessive voltage conditions, the system's protection functions are designed to help prevent inverter overload.

Plug & Play Concept

The SUN-2000G2-WAL-H is designed with a convenient installation concept. The inverter can be connected to a standard AC electrical system when permitted by the applicable electrical and grid connection requirements.

Protection and Safety Functions

The inverter includes several protection functions, including overload, overtemperature, short-circuit, reverse polarity and island protection. These functions are designed to support safe inverter operation under changing wind generator and electrical grid conditions.

Parallel AC Connection
